How many times we come across people who are just not concerned with prioritizing the work or attending the issue if it is not related to him.When we indicate that a certain job is needed to be done and response time is say 30 mins, we seldom find that person adhering to the timeline.
This is very much evident in Gujarat where we come across this frequently.One wonders if it just doesn't strike them, is it lack of passion, or the plain attitude to take things easy.One needs to apply penalties for say not coming in time, or getting a certain work done in the said time and only then do they scramble.When you touch their wallet they spring up.In India you fine people for many things and they get away paying bribes.In Singapore they mean what they say and adhere to that 100%.You break the law and the law breaks you.Same in most of the other parts of the world.This things works in a professional controlled environment in India but back into public arena one cares a damn.
Value each others time , honor commitments, execute work in time bound space is possible only in the professional circuit that too because it hits your wallet if you fail to deliver.Be it salary, bonus, incentive etc.If not, who cares!!
Dream of an India where people really make this happen as a habit because that is second nature.What a transformation it would be.Each of us trying that little bit, will make it happen.
