In our daily routine we come across various people.A few known and many unknown.People connect based on the level of comfort they feel and the space given and taken by the individuals involved in communication.Verbal and Non verbal gestures make that happen and its so critical , especially those few minutes at the start that they make or break bonds and relations.
It happens to all of us and we react to the circumstances that are created by these people.For example, one is required to meet say xyz gentleman and resolve his concern....1)Some do it because " My boss wants me to do it" 2). Some for the process adherence part of it, 3)and some just because i have nothing much to do so let me chat up kinds!!!.Now the most important aspect of all this is " Is your heart and soul into it?Do we have any feelings behind it?Am I passionate about doing it?..............
How can one connect with no emotions, no energy , no desire to make something happen or to create and add value. I come across many of them who have a dual personality and are very expressive in a known environment but simply freeze and get into a shell without exploiting the situation in your favor when they meet strangers.Some come out expressionless , plain dumb where even the fly would hesitate to land on the facial plateau.Some are good looking but with zero facial muscles they go with a duh!!what hit me expression.Some go back and forth as if they are singing rock a bye baby on the tree top .This exhibition of very sloppy and superficial emotions leads to nowhere and ends up being a futile exercise in relationship building.Many businesses today measure the level of satisfaction and delight on various attributes and one finds that its ultimately the people in the system that make the difference and not the process necessarily.
You may have the best systems but heartless people to run it. You may be privy to the best processes laid out in the world but when it comes to deliverance its the heart that connects and says" that's what i was looking for!!!
Bridges connect, thoughts connect, touch connects,hearts connect.Some are physical and others virtual.The meaning is given by the intent and passion behind establishing it.
