I was watching the Mifta award show that was presented in London.What a giant leap for the Marathi Film industry.A whole contingent of 300 plus people carted all the way to London.I think it was much needed for this industry that is mainly dominated by other languages to make its impression on the international front.
Fantastic talent,and a theme "nostalgia" that took me back many years and all the beautiful songs and movies the excerpts of which were presented by the current generation.I sincerely wish to thank Mahesh Manjrekar and Zee TV for taking this to a global platform and creating that opportunity for Marathi films and television shows to reach global audiences at the same time.
Wishing them the best of success with one earnest request.Please improve the dress sense and get them going a bit traditional and a lot global that helps them get identified across the world and yet maintain the traditions.
