10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 and 00:00 hrs 17th January 2012, the day I reached my half century.Had it been cricket ,I would rejoice.I took a cue from that and said, why not?Let me too begin my new journey.Lets start counting 1-2-3 and so on that you can start living afresh and leave aside the excess baggage of memories( good and bad) and work your self through the new challenges life has to offer.God has been always kind and has given all the strength to face and tackle all situations and shown you the best what one would dream off.
Who says 2012 is Dooms day? As I go down memory lane and let go those splendid memories and experiences, let me just recall a few top of the line events that were part of this journey.
Here we go:::::Meeting the president of India and discussing business and his overseas experiences over coffee for 45 minutes in the presidential Palace and then he offered me a Birthday cake which was to take place in a few days from the day we met him.Or sitting face to face with none other than Mr.Amitabh Bachchan , the legend and the only one who I hold in high esteem,for being a splendid human being, down to earth and I had the privilege to sell him a Mercedes Benz , which he wanted to gift it to his wife Jaya.These were dream come true of sorts.Had also the chance to be a Model for a Mobile company with your face plastered across newspapers and Hoarding all around the city of Pune .It was fantastic.Flying down to the USA for a 24 hrs visit which included a business meet and a game of base ball with the red socks in action and a suite reserved to see the game.Wow!I had a chance to see exotic locales across continents, visit the Burj Al Arab the sensation of the millennium and sit in a suite having lunch that cost a bomb.Meeting many Bolly wood Icons,politicians in high places,the best of hotels,the choicest of places on the globe and sampling cuisines that were simply mind blowing. Exotic cars, chopper rides, hot air balloon and champagne breakfast at 0400 hrs over sydney, airbus 380 flights to NY,bullet train rides in Shanghai,Gondolas in Venice,life in a Tunnel ,below the English channel, visits to the Vineyards and sampling wines in Prague,kissing the Swiss Alps and exploring the depths of the ocean and experiencing the best sight ever on this planet ,the coral reefs down under .
I also experienced not so good times when people use you and let you down, when you sit at home and wonder where would my next job be?With the money in the wallet running on reserve and commitments given had to be adhered to it was a classical tightrope walk!!Some times because of my adventurous nature and willingness to explore the unknown, I made mistakes that taught me a lot.My wife and kids stood by me and gave me rock solid support at all times, without which i would never have achieved this where I am today. But going through all this we still have arrived at this milestone and am eager to forge ahead to explore the hidden mysteries of life.
I earned a lot of GENUINE friends and would like to enjoy the days ahead with them and make every day a memorable one -Frills or no frills......ready , 1-2-3........................................
