I have been watching this series Australia's Master chef on TV and its quite an interesting concept .It keeps you guessing and watching the contestants giving their maximum to survive the challenge and go to the next level.
I have also been to this country and traveled the east coast and came across good people in general. However when it comes to giving footage or exposure on TV shows it appears to me that the Asian origin contestants do get a raw deal. While the process is going on they almost never get a chance to express themselves and even if they are qualifying for the next stage they seldom get a chance to speak about their colleagues or their own dish they are preparing etc.It always the fair skin that gets prominence though a large diaspora that supports that economy is of Asian origin.
Is the racists element true then? There are definite shades for sure and keep emerging in bits and pieces which in my opinion must be squashed. The entire episode is very interesting and shouldn't get a blot because of any racists issues.
