The word captioned above is synonymous with strength, resilience, persistence,flexibility, agility, love,emotions and much more.With such an enormous amount of potential this person, be it the lady of the house who many assume does no work, or the lady at work, demonstrates such an ability that can leave the men from Mars way behind.
The girl child ,when she blossoms into a mother to be,the way she adapts to the changing world around and in her is simply unbelievable.God has made provisions for every small change that takes in your life ,especially when you are about to bring in one more life into this world.The diets and health restrictions, the routine checkups, the anxiety and curiosity about what next, the quarterly reviews and shifting gears to welcome the new entrant is a treat to watch.To assimilate the enormous amount of information available on the Internet and clubbing that up with the doctors advise and million others who have been mom's is a task at hand.Then comes the actual day when the child steps into this world, the ability of the girl child, changing over to a mother, ready to nurse, and bring up the kid, is a phenomenal leap.Balancing on all fronts, the husband and new dad, the baby and the mother attachments, the traditions and checks and balances, the do's and don't s etc is a humongous task.The feeds, the sleepless nights, the wailing kid, building up patience and tolerating the confinement one is subjected to due to hygienic reasons is also a big lesson in itself.
The mental and physical exertion , and stress that it brings about is not for everyone.The food and timings, the doctor's visits and checkups, the vaccine schedules, the massages and the mandatory rest in periods all this and more, just don't seem to end.The lady in question ,however is so cheerful and manages to go through the daily chores as if its routine.Then apart from that she manages home in a nuclear family, the food to be cooked, the clothes, her health and the people and their whims and fancies if any in the house.If she gets help at home from all hands then lucky,if not then god save this poor child.
With all this and more, we still doubt what a woman can deliver and underestimate her prowess.She can fly space missions, jet fighters, commercial flights,be executive chefs in major Hotel chains,teach, coach and be excellent in business analytics or for that matter running a financial institution.We as men , are lazy and comparing to the physical work or mental capabilities demonstrated by women , they indeed are WOW than MEN.Lets admit and accept .You need tea and food at your doorstep, your newspaper handy at all times, your relaxation times as you are the only one who apparently works and all this that gives you time to watch the news, and snore at 10 pm.On the other hand the lady is up early, kids to school, food to be prepared , work at office and home,kids homework,evening dinner and catering to the invites you may have made to impress your office folks, and end of the day after managing the maids and utilities etc she wishes to crash and catch up with some sleep when you want her company!!!!
Who is the super power then?Why are we against a girl child?Why do we underestimate them?Give them the respect and the helping hand and I am sure they deliver better.Be it in a boxing ring or in the hospital.Without them we are nothing.Hats of to them.Wish people keep aside their bloated egos and accept the truth.
