Suckers

Many a times we might have observed that while working in an organization we have "yes men".Now ,this is nothing new ,but the application of the valuable asset "THE BRAIN" and its gray cells to process information received is the crucial missing link found in such people.

You note that any thing that comes from the boss, its always yes siiiiiir!!!!!!Why do such and such thing??I don't know siiiir, you told me so i do it!!!!!If we go on doing things like this , what a waste of a precious commodity -THE BRAIN.A postman , checks the letters and drops them to many houses. He seldom needs to know what is in it and why he should deliver this at a certain address.Similarly the yes man.

Then come the laggards.....slower than the snail, completely bored with life and dragging every inch of their body with no stress on the brain ,keeping it highly unused , that may fetch a good resale value  if ever it were to be put up in a used brain market!!!They drawl and move at such a pace ,anytime that it appears Hercules/Atlas left the universe on their shoulders while he excused himself for a break. They are such a burden on society.

The cribbers----Whine , whine ,whine...all the time.Never a second when they don't have an excuse .They never seem to be having anything that satisfies them. What would happen to them during those  otherwise sensuous exciting moments, when they contribute to the ever growing population and wasting precious fluids??The new born also may start saying" hey why do i waste my energy crying now??I have ample years ahead!!!

The Know all....the walking talking encyclopedia.Google and ask me services are put to shame and shy away when facing these people. They seem to have a 1000Watt lamp always burning at the top of their head like a light house showing the people around as to how to navigate in the choppy waters. They seem to have a solution for everything except their bloated egos!!!

Variety indeed is the spice of life or the ice of life or the lice of life:)

incredible circus

I wonder why we need to train people to be part of a circus when we have most of the barodians on 2 wheels doing the same with ease.12 kgs on one side of the handle, 15 kgs on each side of the rear wheel saree guard, 3 adults with an infant perched on the tip of the rear portion -cliff hanger I would say and merrily coming from the wrong side, which i suppose is the birthright of a Barodian. How on earth can people be so callous? How can they jeopardize the lives of the people on the bike including the rider as well as the others using the right way ?

Little or no respect for traffic rules, challenging every rule in the book , defying all laws of newton and any sane scientist and perform this circus to the oblivious thousands of passersby. We have reality dance shows and record breaking performances on different channels on TV, but I must say nothing to beat these. The 2 wheeler manufacturers must do deep diving in this region and see how well and safe they have designed their bikes with 150% more safety standards. This is because you seldom see any of the bikes disintegrating due to the 5 -6 pax load of 300 plus kg all inclusive.Wow!!!

This happens only in India and especially Gujarat. How can one argue of fuel efficiency and fuel prices that are sky rocketing? I say , with the fuel prices shooting up one will see 8 pax and double decker bikes.

Pantomine

Death....the last act in life where the curtains fall on the drama that one has to enact ,be it 0-90 years or more.Looking back it may appear that some have played a lead role and some support actors or even extras in life. This is adjudged mainly by the meaningful contribution one has done in his/her life as well as in others life around them. The crowds that turn up to attend the last rites may be an indicator for sure.Does one get remembered like receiving a lifetime achievement award or people are relieved that there is one less nuisance in this world.

The truth however emerges as you engage with the crowd and understand how many have gathered just to show their physical presence, with little or no grief in the true sense, and others ,who create a big racket bursting out loud and scaring and  waking the peaceful soul that is actually onto its new journey to a peaceful abode. The fact remains that when this being who is no more was alive the same people squabbled, fought, went legal, may be even separated as partners in business or love, fought tooth and nail over brick and mortar, and now suddenly may have a sense of relief that without that soul life is less complicated, probably.Barring the genuine few close blood relations, those too may be truthfully grieved, may exhibit real emotions. Here too we never know what may be scheming in the minds of these "close"relations. Is it $$$$$$ or sadness?

The conversations that take place at the last rites also are strange.People like to be sadist and keep pestering the bereaved family with the same questions like"how, why, when,so sad...etc etc!!!!!What can we say, isn't that torture?Rather than pushing them deeper into the sorrows we need to pull them out and easen their tensions.Assure them that by crying they will hurt the departed soul, and instead they should  pray for eternal peace and thank god for making one soul suffer less in the daily hurdles of life.Think and talk about what he contributed  in life and how he/she laid the foundation to a better world for the gen next.Never touch upon commercials, business, property etc etc atleast in those days.Try help the bereaved tide over those moments by morally, physically and mentally if not financially extending support to complete formalities, help assist in transportation, accompany them where ever needed, just be by their side silently and do more than just talk.

Life is a drama played out on a big stage where each one plays his/her role and his/her time of entry and exit is planned much earlier by almighty, which can never change. So instead of squabbling, play the role of peace maker, spread love and make people aware of themselves and their surroundings so much so that they make their journey here and beyond a truly memorable one.
