The growing viral issues and the weak immunity of our current generations is leading to huge business opportunities for the Doctors in general.
I saw the waiting room of a renowned doctor a few days back and was aghast to see the uncanny resemblance to a Indian railway station.People in general, patients, ward boys, medical reps, runners, interns and all crammed in less than 300 sq feet of space , that has a reception, the ecg room, the other clinical space run by his wife and furthur assisted by other doctors was simply thought provoking.
If i am a patient and i need assistance or medical advise and i go to a doctor what i atleast need is undivided attention for the appointment i have taken with the doctor( which itself is an ordeal) .If i go at the stipulated time and am made to wait for say 30 minutes beyond my time i say , oh i understand the doctor must be busy. When i get in there, i see apart from me another patient sitting and completing his checkup??
When i need private consultation for which i pay as well dont i deserve some dedicated time?Being busy yes but if the attention span is going to get divided i wonder if the treatment prescribed would be correct and the explanation or diagnosis is accurate.Because after all this if i spend money and get wrongly treated who owns it???
I am talking about a renowned doctor, well qualified and experienced who also runs a hospital.People still troop in and get treated there.
In India sab kuch chalta hai....meaning everything happens and works .
