In India one finds a tense( the grammar tense present, past, future) that is so dominant that one tends to believe that if it really were true this country would be one of the most efficient places to work in.This I suppose is called present continuous tense.Because things just keep happening and happening.......
Ask me how?
Ask most of the Indians when will something happen and he say"bas, just 5 mins" or he would say "its happening",or 'it will be done"( how, where , when???).Now if you tend to rely on that 100% with no backup then chances are that you are going to get surprised( pleasantly at times) but shocked most of the times as this process just drags and drags.You ask the same person again as to why and how long it would take for his commitment to translate to reality and he would confidently state" anytime now, its just going to happen" and you again wait with expectations..................!!!
You get restless and are about to loose your cool when you receive his call or its his innocent looking face staring at you saying" look i told you it would happen" because it actually takes place ( as the way you wanted it or not is the next question" or phase 2!!).The respect for others time or the eagerness or anxiety to deliver on committed time is seldom found.
Once we learn to respect that we will definitely be a superior power to reckon with.

battle ground Anna

At long last what everybody knew and had to happen,did take place at last.the parliament and all its bad men dressed in white approved the Lokpal bill unanimously.Who would have dared to say nay.
42 years later they all realized that corruption did exist in the dictionary as well as on ground.Next and most important aspect is the implementation of the same and strict adherence to the same.
What is even more important is we the people must stop encouraging corruption and deflate any such attempt,only then will the likes of Pawars,Deshmukhs,Raja,Laloo Mayawati and Mulayam will come down to ground realities and spend public monies on important and critical issues.Pawar didn,utter a word neither did anyone from his NCP party.One must ask Rahul Gandhi to look within and probe the stupendous rise and rise of his billy( Brother in law) in the last 8-10 years along with 20% stake in Unitech and DLF connections???
Better late than never.Hats of to a true soldier of this country who has taught billions across India and abroad the grit and determination one needs to fight a cause however impossible it may seem.When u believe in it it will happen if you have the will.

The poster boy of congress breaks his silence at last .......scurrying for cover from media, rolling up the windows and avoiding making any comments for the past few days when the matter was burning , Mr.Rahul Gandhi decides to suddenly get up in Zero hour( privileged as he is), took more than the time meant for any elected member to present important points in front of the parliament and read from pages ( which technically is never allowed in the zero hour)a few points which were considered as pearls of wisdom.What his great grandfather supposedly started and his grandmother nor his father nor mother were keen on introducing the bill in the parliament for over 42 years he is throwing light on them( zero watts though).
The PM on hearing Rahul ji addressing the parliament in zero hour immediately turnaround and ran to his seat like a good obedient school boy.Such is the caliber of our elected representative who on the basis of majority want to vote in or vote out this bill( if it reached that stage beyond the debate today.)
Unless we take step one how can we we dream of a corruption free India?
Why is everyone scared of their powers being curtailed.The PM of japan offered to resign today just based on the public sentiments!!What maturity !!And look at our jokers..........they are glued by fevicol ( a good subject for the TV commercial) and will not budge until humiliated and kicked out.
Rahul and his youth brigade where is that serious intent to bring about change????

bend it like vadodara

Watch the dandy youngsters riding the fancy mobikes, zipping across the roads like their backside is on fire, and so damn busy impressing the opposite sex that a small vibration of 0.0001 richter in the back pocket of the tattered jeans caused of course by the mobile they carry gets them on high .But who has the time to stop as this is a damn busy world and the person has to answer the call right there or the world will end.So our Hunk shoves his hand in the back pocket while he carelessly maneuvers through the traffic at the same speed with one hand on the handle and the other hand looking at the mobile screen which he successfully managed to retrieve.Now comes the acrobatics all on the busy street.He shoves the phone in between his collar blade and the ear and bends his neck by 77.354 degrees and starts talking to the most important call of his life....his girlfriend probably.The noise in the background as he zips must be consuming a lot of talk time as one has to probably repeat the words "N" number of times( good business for service providers).
He now sees the road at 77.354 degrees and may be able to identify the broken exhaust of the car in front of him or the pot hole under the car in front of him.
This guy will get a twisted neck in the next 1 year or end up on the road in a road rash.Good business for the orthopedics.The economy gets driven like this in India.At this rate we can have a double digit growth and the PM need not worry.

The cops ( selective as they are )ignore these idiots and catch the gullible guys like truckers to recover his daily"baksheesh".
It is not limited to the male fraternity but also to the young girls who blatantly S M S while riding the two wheeler......!!!!!!!

what "GUYS"(GAI-COWS)

The festival of Janmashtami make the people of Vadodara very generous and as such they let loose all the stray cattle(cows-popularly known as GAI ) in the custody of the Govt.( with no parking charges) to roam freely on the streets of vadodara.Wow.Coming to think of it we have wide!! roads and then traffic discipline is one of the best in its class(the "F" division) and to top it the speed breakers and pot holes created by the recent downpour, this does add another dimension.The 4th dimension .Calf and the mother in a herd move around lazily at will and defy all rules patiently looking at the passing vehicles or traffic jams that may occur .Oblivious of being the root cause they ruminate and so do the people.The more the chaos better we feel.When one drives its like going on a cross country track, avoiding all these obstacles and reaching your destination .
We have so many grazing fields can we not let them loose there in their habitat.Why confuse those poor animals and create this ruckus.?Probably we don't have the money to pay the fuel cost for transporting them to such places just on the outskirts of the city.
Lord Krishna, my humble request is to drive commonsense into the minds of these people and not use the day devoted to you for jeopardizing the lives of one and all.

aspirations and perspirations

We come across many people who work with us at all levels and also slog daily in spite of a host of challenges at home just to get the salary at the end of the month to run the house.They have aspirations and want to be some one.Their superiors in turn must /should look at a growth path for them and they do so but many a time things don't work the way one would like them too.Especially when you are straightforward and have the habit of confronting and questioning the wrong doings or activities that are principally not correct then you have to face a host of thing within the system that frustrate you no end.Some give up the fight easily, some try to stay put and fight the system and others wear themselves of facing the heat from outside and within.
Why is it so difficult to face these challenges?Why does one have to endeavor to make these changes and try improve the system?Who benefits at what cost?
Everyone may benefit at your cost.That's the truth.
We as the change people keep motivating , guiding, cajoling, pushing, encouraging, boosting them to be part of this change and the system kicks as long as you are at it.The moment you decide otherwise the momentum stalls .
I saw this in my professional career a couple of instances that frustrate you no end.One can gather all the wisdom in the books and the guidance of management gurus but still there is no real solution in sight.Imagine an entrepreneur who only trusts his close coterie who sit in key locations and act like eyes and ears of the organization what kind of principles and systems would work.All of them feel they control the boss and so they control the organization.If you try to drive sense in that or bring in systems they revolt.Adding barricades, driving wedges in progress. trying to stake a claim in every dollar given as incentive, manipulating figures to suit their working and making the owner believe that all izz well!!!Any person with professional expertise may say why the hell spend time , money and energy on this rather quit and move on to a better place.Many small and medium businesses are still run like that and its important to make the entrepreneur understand that if he needs to grow ,he must shed these laggards and drive energy and momentum in the system.Bring and accept the change and encourage and motivate personally the people within to reach bigger destinations.If not the vortex he is creating will suck him down into the blackhole that is a bottomless pit.

people have different behavior patterns and the psychologist are the ones that are the experts at analyzing the whims and fancies of many such characters and apply sense and logic to figure out what could be behind the thinking pattern.I got to know of such people who would squeeze every dime of even the poorest of people on the roads in spite of having tons of wealth back home.When it comes to sharing , giving its a no no.Grabbing and applying all the rules that are crooked they are the first.No empathy, always a reason to hold back any monies that could belong to someone else.
Why do people have such crooked mentality?
A person who started business to be on his own feet met a businessmen who rolls in money( the one that his father acquired and not him)and was offered a verbal contract to lay some tiles in the front yard of his petrol bunk, that estimated to a 3000USD work.Since it was given by a known , so called high profile person the poor entrepreneur went ahead and was to told to invest his own funds to get these tiles.The job was done and unfortunately the contractor died due to a heart attack.His family not aware of these dealings were asking for help from the concerned businessman and what they get in return was"sorry we can't do much we had paid off all our dues and that's the best we can help".The point was not they couldn't help but the dues were actually not payed and the poor family is deprived of this what is rightfully theirs.On top of that the wealthy member of this very society tells his guard on duty that as he was the only other fellow to know about this to keep quiet about the episode.What sick mentality?
These people are well connected , can twist any situation the way they want, have all the power brokers as their partners in all the businesses they set up so that in event of any issue, they stand protected.What do they get out of this behavior?Where will they repay this and when?The innocent are they "stupid" or is it that the wealthy are plain "smart "?No doubt every one wants the shorter routes to make money, twist arms, con people and get away scott free!!!!

The drive against corruption in India is fast gaining momentum.People across showing solidarity and supporting in plenty.Debates raging on national channels,coverage occupying more than 90% footage and its ANNA all the way.
Now comes the deeper vision as we tunnel underneath and the point is :
1) Is Anna and team ready to place the solution on the floor of the parliament?Democracy is for the people , by the people, of the people and it comes before the "parliament" in the constitution,all this is fine.However , the Lokpal bill in any form will ultimately be tabled before the same goons elected by us who have been corrupt and having a tarnished image in the past, and are either relatives or descendants of the same clan that refused to pass this or any version of this for the past 42 years????Unless these same blokes agree it will never pass the test??
We can keep arguing , debating and shredding this bill into pieces but who is going to ratify that finally ?The MP's in the parliament who occupy both houses, elected or nominated.If the PM is so honest and clean why is he not taking a challenge and accepting to be part of the Lokpal bill?Whats his worry?
Claims and counter claims, Adamancy , hypocrisy, politics, opportunism,publicity ,ignorance,all these qualities are surfacing in young India with no solution in sight.
Even if it comes who is going to seal the same???This corrupt government or the next one that is waiting in the wings 6 months from now.After all this if Congress comes to power once again then god save us.Its a catch 22.It has to be now or never and for that put all the force and intelligence behind to eradicate this muck.
We will and we must do this cleanup.............

Pace off

Planning in your life does make life a lot less complicated in spite of the unknowns.One usually enters life in the fast lane, high on hopes and while stepping on the gas never keeps an eye on the rear view mirror of the tracks left behind.I agree to the fact that we must leave the past and its excess baggage behind so that we travel lite as we move ahead.So anticipate and/or project and plan a few years ahead be it in your professional,financial and personal goals and be focused on those few .My experience says it would do wonders.I missed out a lot in my initial years moving through the roller coasters of life rudderless.I tried to get inputs from people around and then just went by sheer gut feel.Instincts do work ,but be ready to face the challenges without regret because its __your choice.
Floating aimlessly,unwilling to explore and take on new challenges in life stagnates your progress.One should in my opinion also learn to be content at some point of time and give others a chance.Share your learning's and secrets or shortcuts with others which would help them to scale up faster.This life is going to be tougher day by day and the next gen needs our moral guidance,support lest they drift or get instigated or lured by the evils that lie in the path of progress.I see youngsters confused,sometimes very aggressive,most of the times flitting places to gain stability in their jobs and working 18hrs loosing their primetime in the mad rush for money.They miss out on the initial years of marriage,and personal space in the rush to be "someone".Health hazards,stress,and vices that may lead to a burn out much earlier than expected .Aim high,be practical,apply a lot of commonsense and don,t let things go to your head.Be humble and feet steady on the ground at all times where ever you may be or who ever you may become going ahead.I always suggest to check your market value every year or to just keep abreast with the latest in the market.
Do not be a burden on anyone at any point of time as much as possible.Keep close contact with a few true and good friends than the opportunist who cling around because of your position or wealth.You will realize this in the later part of life.
This as i state are a few things I went through and would like to share with my readers.

Anna is going global and I am not surprised to see that there has not been a single word from the likes of Rahul Gandhi, the poster boy of congress , Raj Thackeray the suave rebel,The Udhhavs and the Shiv sainiks who should be out on the streets as usual, and of course you cann't expect Mayawati and Laloo or the DMK to say a word as they are already deep in the muck.
So who really wants the Lokpal bill?
We have generated enough support globally with national televisions in Australia, China, UK and USA plus the far east covering this crusader.
The youth on the streets and all educated and middle class intellectuals taking to the streets.The govt.however chooses to kill time, gauge the response at Ramlila over the weekend and then get to the next step.What a farce??Look at the intent.
Sonia away and congress is at play.What hasn't happened in 42 years is now going to happen.Choke the nerve centers and get the MP's on the street to respond.Munna bhai the movie showed us a novel way of fighting corruption,this has to build up and take shape .If this moment dies we are dead.
Join hands together for a great cause that will help the world.

Squirreled

Looking out of my window i see the furry little animal who was blessed by Lord Rama with his finger marks that created the brand-- Squirrel.The fluffy tail up in the air and the constant fidget made me probe a little bit longer and that took me on a small journey through the mind of this tiny animal.Its scared and very alert , extremely agile and can walk the tightrope that can put a professional tightrope walker to shame,it hangs around , perched on the balcony or by the leaf so elegantly that one wonders how flexible this tinytot is.The back arched and clinging on to the window ledge it was busy pulling a small piece of cloth and drag it over the cluster of brick tiles to an unknown destination.The rigor with which it went about doing that job and the never give up attitude is what amazed me.It was scampering to and fro and must have burnt millions of calories in those 15 minutes .It was so amusing to see it pick up some food and hold it between its tiny front legs while it rested its backside on the stronger legs and nibbled at it with delight.The attention however was all over looking out for the first signs of danger as it perceived .
If we had that awesome energy we could make this place a dream world.Walk over and cross the thinnest of wires, jump over the walls and get into the bushes and scramble across the railings and compounds.The speed, agility and flexibility of the body is a sight to watch.The squaking noise it makes is a trade mark and what they communicate is a mystery to the human ear. I have also noticed the giant squirrels in Washington DC and Detroit as they scamper and almost leap across with a webbed body but are large in size.But these little ones can outnumber them anytime and have the distinct stripes on the back.
This place Vadodara and Gujarat generally is full of them.I have even noticed that fight for survival kinds between the squirrel and 2 parrots who were after the same nuts place don a wall.Both sides kept at the game trying to outdo each other.I noticed strategy , speed, alertness, and power as well.So similar to Mankind.
Very refreshing to see this early in the mornings and believe me it sets your mind thinking and gives you a lot of energy to start your day just observing them play for 10 minutes.

Aarakshan-The bitter pill

The entire political system in India needs a thorough purging of all the dirt and filth accumulated over the years in the Congress and BJP era.Every one who came to power felt he can take things for granted, we never questioned, refrained from voting and led to the emergence of regional factions that are disrupting the stable base of our country.We don't have a resounding majority because of these fragmented regional divides, further segmented into castes and dalits and then "AARAKSHAN".
These are the same people who learnt from the British how to divide and rule and they keep dividing the country to shreds.Every Tom,(babua) Dick(dada) and Harry( haribhau) wants his share of land and rule just to make money and fool the gullible BPL people who are the ones that vote.UTTARANCHALS, NAGALAND, TELANGANA,VIDHARBA,and god knows how many more will be created.This has been done by the Congress and they keep fueling fire, arousing the subdued anger and wrath of the people that comes out as a reaction ,sometimes violent.
We are becoming a cancerous society gnawing into our own fabric that we have created with our own efforts.We are being fooled and taken for a ride by the so called Western powers,and kept busy and engaged on the borders by the AF-PAK, AND CHINA-POK games....What a pity.The entire nation is becoming porous from within and we are looking out.
We are divided at every point be it religion,language,tradition, culture and all others know for sure how to instigate an Indian and put one against the other.We like fools fall prey to these situations and are solely responsible and accountable for the current mess we are into 64 years post independence.The youth today will come up in arms at one point of time if they come together.The point remains that the so called young turks under our superman Rahul Gandhi ARE ONLY GAS BAGS.All these MPs and state ministers are very well to do and have no clue about ground realities.They don't even want to know.The best way to rule this is to divide and keep dividing and creating controversies that blow up in their face one day after a century which is long enough for one life time.Who cares there beyond.

Even movies like Aarakshan are banned from screening because they show the truth.We are gutless and don't have the passion or desire to eradicate this disease that is devouring us and face the facts. Sad very sad:((.I too have committed my blunder and own responsibility for being part of this.I will and 200% vote for the truth and pray this will workout for India's future 6 months from now when elections come.
I believe that only when all this filth in parliament is thrown out will this regain its sanctity as an institution with credible powers and with fresh people and no mindsets can we move ahead and be a force to reckon with ,with no blackheads and darkspots that stain our fundamentals of this strong constitution.

oz effect

My niece married an Australian and to be honest he is one person who inspite of having lived all these years in a peaceful quiet country a few hundred kms away from Melbourne is so entrenched into the Indian scheme of things that he has decided to be a PIO( person of Indian origin).Amazing isn't it?People from India wait for the 1st opportunity to catch a flight to the US OR UK but this is different.I happen to chat with him the other day and he came out with interesting revelations about our own country.He was fascinated by the beauty and its people and traditions.He went all by himself across the interior parts of Maharashtra , Himachal and even Hampi and came up with interesting experiences.He got conned, met good helpful people,experienced the train journey and the coaches as well as the rickety buses.He attended the Silent valley courses at Lonavala, went biking to
Sinhgad in Pune all by himself.In fact given a first opportunity he takes his bike goes up the mountain and sits for hours admiring the nature and surroundings.For hobby he does paintings and made a collection of 10-12 excellent art forms on canvas.He demonstrated his dirt biking skills at Lonavala and awed the people around, sat with them and spoke the language they could understand and got closer, ate the food that we prepare with the spice and inspite of all the curry and spice managed to smile.He use to smoke and drink and has given up on all that after coming to India .Isn't that amazing?He even helped my brother who is a dentist to make a few dentures to great perfection.That is dedication.The humble soul and his attitude is a lot that we can take and absorb if we really want our country to be an ideal place to live in.
We ,staying within this country ,born and bought up may never realize the true potential of our India.We go abroad to drink, smoke, make merry and take every opportunity to 'explore"the wild west as is perceived by us.Never once do we think of learning or bringing back good things from them to our country so that we can improve ourselves.We search for pastures outside when there is so much more within.
He in fact also realized the great difficulties an Indian goes through in every walk of life and yet keep the momentum up and going.
Can we also learn a few things from them and make our India a better place ?

hazzar baar-1000 times

Anna Hazare as the name spells is a person who can do a thousand things .He is trying and the world is supporting him( even NRI's from Jersey).What has happened is a good strong momentum, i only hope it doesn't take ages as it happened during the Mahatma days ...The Dandi March .A government that doesn't care a damn for the public and its sentiments what can one expect.The typical standard operating procedures by the COPs, court arrest, fill up jails and release them, but not accept the suggestions made by the Millions.Why shouldn't a PM be under public scrutiny?Why if he is Mr.Clean be scared of this?This mockery of democracy is sad.This will keep on happening and unless the youth take it up strongly and make this a movement , a revolution of sorts this is not going to change.I wish the Army steps in and takes control of this place and establish an iron hold to thwart all the hidden agendas of this ****** politicians who in any garb are all the same.
One supports from the outside, the other worried what if anna goes on a fast and something goes wrong while in jail.Locking up Anna in a cell next to the CWG scamster is the biggest insult to the country.Coming to think of it the UPA govt must not be worried as they are happy seeing all the educated blokes supporting Anna and these are the same people who will never VOTE!!!So how does it matter??We need to take this movement to the people who are below the poverty line and who vote to make them understand how the LOOT takes place.That is when it would be a HAZAAR volt jhatka(shock).........

In-dependance

15th August and by habit you see innovative flags of the country being sold at every nook and corner, the orange , green and white color gains prominence without the Ashoka chakra.The politicians start becoming patriotic for once and show the world how hypo critic they are.The kids on the street wait for the holiday to play cricket in the by lanes and school children are seen trod ding down in their uniforms to school early in the morning even on a holiday because its a practice.People in societies gather to maybe stand or casually place themselves in a group for the national anthem( where is the respect)....wonder how many know it by heart.The rush however is for the free coffee and snacks on offer post the function.Evening before is "HAPPY HOURS"in the memory of the all those who gave us this day.(The next day or 15th is a dry day hence the mad rush for the booze shops).Half the nation is busy on the highways criss crossing states to reach their friends and relatives to unwind from the daily routine.( just another holiday)
What has India achieved in the last 64 years...a powerful economy, a rouge neighbor state,a fire spitting dragon on the head,a pesky island with "tigers" treading on an alien country and claiming it to be theirs,scam driven news channels, a spineless corrupt government whose dependance on other countries is more than the Independence it has got to be proud off.You have Rao's, dada's, bhau's and bahens,across the nations looting the common people of their wealth and splurging tax payers monies and ripping the natural resources.Banks balances of these babus that are splitting at the seams in the SWISS mountains .What we need is a dictatorial government that can reign in the crooked and rule this place with an Iron Hand which is what is best understood and accepted.Democratic steps are seldom taken and have no meanings.Discipline or the lack of it is what needs to be infused and that's the only way we can become a powerful nation which no one dares to look down upon or take us for granted.

Point of no return

This dreaded illness is fast catching up across the world and is consuming people from the face of the earth at a pretty rapid pace.The signs of deterioration are seldom visible and when they are identified its like get,set and go.We have people like Patrick Swayze from the movie Dirty dancing, steve jobs of Apple and Lisa Ray who one would never imagine to be hit by this "point of no return".It shouldn't really happen to anyone and I wish the statement:If wishes were horses beggars would ride" really were true in this case.I wonder why they happen to good people and so suddenly.I don't mean harm or wish bad but the people who do good to this world are the ones that get affected.
I lost my Mother and that was a severe blow .All this took a mere 15 days and I never even realized this neither the medical reports or History ever indicate something like this that could possibly warn me and my family.On the other hand I thank almighty that she didn't really have to bear the brunt of chemo therapies which are torturous and have a devastating effect on the mind and the body of the living SOUL.
I came across 2 cases just this week , close friends , no vices, and wonder why this had to happen to such select few when they don't break rules, they don't indulge in bad habits or an unhealthy lifestyle for that matter.The outcome of 22 chemo therapies is a massive hole in the wallet and more pronounced void in the life of a healthy happy family.Net outcome--HOPE.
The chemicals in day to day life , the veggies have been treated with sprays, the meat infected with bacteria, the immune system becoming weaker by the day due to mineral water and so called 'High hygiene" habits. Yet we still await a drug that can give us hope and a possible cure for this dreaded illness.When will that happen?

Sounds familiar?this phrase above::we live in a world full of them.that is one gift from god that is in abundance with each one of us without exception.how much use its put too is the creative genius in you that works.if u are dumb in this field ...well in india u might be an alien.however if u are having a platinium category frequent user certificate u are a true blood indian.one comes across this so routinely in every day life that your antennae go up as soon as we get to hear the first words of wisdom.one rainfall and lo!!people start staying away from work with a plethora of the choicest xcuses one can think of.For example,if one wears a uniform at work that invariably on that specific day fails to dry or gets soiled or the laundry fella fell sick or the waterlogging was so immense that one had to wade through it and hence it got wet are the standard ones that are chosen.May b true in some cases.People fall ill out of the blues just for that day and arrive fit and fine on the next working day.if its a working saturday one falls sick on that day for sure.why no tele call to inform about the absence,well the call couldn't get through the whole day,or as there was no electricity at home the mobile phone had no charge,there is no landline at home hence couldn't make the call,if land line is there I didn,t store the number etc etc.reminds me of the short song__ there is a hole in the bucket dear eliza ....what a world we live in where we can create excuses at any point of time except when we near our death bed.....where u cannot say to god"sorry I cannot come today as I am tied up""wake up guys and stop fooling yourself and others.Get out of this nasty habit and face the truth.Come to a decision and don't wander about trying to fake things as that web itself will get you entangled one day.

At the stroke of six I rise to see the birds tweet and the early morning Sun rays brighten up the surrounding indicating a bright and sunny day ahead.I open the windows to allow the fresh breeze come in and sense the crispiness in the air.The army of red beaked parrots lines up on the cable feeling the transmissions of the early morning star channel broadcast:))under their feet or maybe the Sanskar channel that may raise their spiritual quotient.Just when your vision penetrates the neighborhood that you come across the cluster of orange and yellow colored hibiscus buds with the pollen loaded stigma jutting out of the tightly closed petal wrap.

One look and you realize that there are as many as 50 of them on a tree no taller than 5 feet and it is an awesome sight.The cool wind blows between the leaves and ruffles up the petals trying to wake up the sleepy stamen.The butterflies flit through the same and you keep gazing at the beauty nature has in store for you.At precisely 0735 hrs the flowers start to bloom at a rapid pace and in a matter of 12-15 minutes are fresh, perfume laden ed full fledged flowers awaiting to be touched.This is a sight worth capturing on the camera and it repeats every day without a break at the same time.I thought to my self if nature can do this miracle just in 15 minutes ,would this be the PRIME TIME of the day in a life of a flower?If so what would happen if we stand out at the same time and absorb the miracle rays and energy of the sun that imparts the glow and energy to this flower.Would it make a difference in your life and your health.?This is the story of my small little garden and what i have been observing every day for the last 15 months.I am gonna try it out.

Mr.Drag

how does one feel when you come across an individual who simply ...DRAGS.
Drag his feet when he walks, drags his tone and voice when he speaks,drags his shadow with him wherever he goes and last but not least his whole appearance is a drag on the entire system.What a waste?

When you compare the same guy with a person full of energy, bubbly, enthusiastic, optimism pouring out from all sides what a difference it makes to the ambiance.On the other hand When you see Mr.Drag and counsel him his receptive antennae also drag....the reception is slow or just not able to possibly absorb things.Wonder what kind of a life that person may be living?His family, his appearance, his sheer presence,his work and approach to it.

I came across a few and trust me it takes probably chillies or a bomb threat to get a reaction from such people.A fly would think 10 times before it lands on that person because only a twitch would make it feel that its presence is felt .Newtons law fails miserably in these cases-Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

I am not being rude but wanted to understand the reason why people have such a status quo.Doesn't anything motivate him?Does it remind anyone of the cartoon character DROOPY....

Raining ships

India did receive good rainfall this year but it came along with a barrage of vessels adrift especially all set course to Mumbai.the way ships keep losing their way and not waking up the sleeping coastguards is a good way to educate terrorist how they need not prepare and waste millions in training people but just drift and u will find Mumbai.what a joke.the amount of money we do not spend on providing security cover or buying equipment to defend the country (as we might hit another scam,)we spend tugging out vessels stuck in the sands of juhu beach.I think its time Amitabh decides to build a lighthouse at his residence just to ensure that a vessel doesn't land up in his bedroom.Now that we also have free oil(spills) and coal supply(sunken though) without a port,free home delivery to the residences of Juhu,its time to party folks get your skewers ........... its barbeque time.

"My name is sheila,sheila from Delhi,i am the cm and nobody can touch me."this appears to be the new popular song on Indian TV.scams that keep rocking the nation can start new corner joints across the country called scam rock cafe.shameless recommendations and profiteering is so deeply sunk in the blood streams of these politicians that any one who comes to power is going to do the same in varying proportions.that too they are sure that in spite of TV expose the culprits have ways and means to go Scott free.what a sad bunch of Indians who disgrace the other set of a billion plus population in front of the world.king Midas had a gift where anything he touched turned to gold,and politicians here have this gift of touching anything that turns into a scam.wow!it would baffle great magicians.innocence on their face and rhino skins(why insult the rhino)should all be tried in public squares the Taliban way.only when such fear grips them will these goons work straight.

What a phrase!!Yeddyurappa Ex-CM Karnataka has power naps .Only this time around it was a bit too long.What a craze to latch on to the seat of power.Multi crore scams and holidaying in Mauritius was that just a coincidence.Firing salvos at the lokayukta,throwing laptops on the floor and slapping a minister who woke him from slumber.This is atrocious and unbecoming of a Chief Minister.Reminds me a of a brat at school throwing tantrums and attracting attention all over.What absurdity. One must check this behavior and sensitize the responsible people about these antics.Laloo , Raja,Kalmadi,Amar singh and many others have similar traits.Drama means natak and kar natak is doing drama so its so apt a term for Mr.Yeddy who is having the spotlight on him and has the audacity to state that he will be back in 6 months.I remember Arnold Schwarzenegger saying this in TERMINATOR but yeddy is already terminated:)).The people of this dramatic state-KAR-NATAKA must show their prowess and prove it to these politicians that they are not above the PUBLIC.At the rate at which mining is being done illegally the satellite picture of the city of bellary may look like the surface of MARS(RED TERRAIN AND CRATERS).When he came to power he looked sensible than his predecessors but now it appears that they all belong to the same DNA(DISGUSTING NOTORIOUS ANIMALS).

vadodara-banyan rooted or routed?

Vadodara-the city with its roots firmly traditional and cultural,wonderful people, quiet relative to the hustle bustle of the metro life and peace loving people who know each other almost like a small family.I too became part of this family and then my awareness started pricking me every single day when I saw the truth at every step of my day to day life.I feel its very important for the citizen of Vadodara to change and strengthen the basic fundamentals and civic sense and bring about a transformation that makes this a place a jewel in the crown of Gujarat.I am sure the hard core vadodarites will detest this and not like me being blunt but its the need of the hour.
Take a few critical things for instance-stray dogs on the nook and corner of every street.Its an army of them guarding their alley and creating a ruckus at night or day time which could be a severe health hazard to the people.Yet no one seems to bother as dogs,cows, sheep, squirrels and monkeys are part and parcel of the day to day life here.If quick steps are not taken it will be a menace difficult to handle. The traffic discipline or lack of it ...inspite of people who travel to UK and USA at the drop of a hat they do not adhere to any of these rules when they come here.Respect to the policeman is ZILCH.Car parking sense is atrocious,dumping garbage in front of the next door neighbour while your own place is cleaned is a routine.At work applying your own mind is as good as finding a rare orchid., Every one has to be told and instructions are followed.Logic and commonsense seldom prevail.Actioning a process is a dream.Dreaming is in abundance however.People are good natured but the elder generation are very inquisitive and at times provocative.
Flocking around the same restaurant for hours waiting for a seat is in vogue but trying out a new outlet is limited to a few.The docile,static nature of people needs to be made more practical and flexible enough to adapt to the changing environment.
School children missing lectures and roaming around at multiplexes on the outskirts of the city while the parents may think otherwise is a warning.The traditional approach in all that is done is quite contrary to the fancy low back "choli" worn when a festival approaches.Eating out but having no time to locate a dustbin is the routine.The bold and the beautiful have a life that would make Las vegas beg for attention.All prohibition norms are thrown to the wind and every and any brand is available as much and as you want.Why then have these double standards?Be bold and create the environment that will make life easy for all.Quality of manpower and power of english is a BIG miss.......Grooming, training and pro activeness is a must because if that matches with the natural business acumen of the local people this city will ROCK.Doctors and medical shops a plenty doing well because the VMC sleeps while allergies spread.
Public transportation --auto mafia, share vs individual,buses we have so many people piling on that the conductor gives up even issuing a ticket.Loss of revenue.To add to the woes we are getting Double deckers???
Water logging, blocked sewers, fluctuating power supply ,politics in colleges than study and guidance,lack of quality teachers in universities,do i have to say more.
Please my sincere request is that we must make this city one of the most pleasant abodes in this part of the world.

One life

Life time opportunity is what many say, lots of slogans made by advertisers etc and we wonder yes its but one life .Why not make the best of it.One look across the Indian diaspora and we notice a typical day in a life of a person living in a metro.How does one make the best of his life when he is stuck in traffic for over 3 hrs a day.Its the same with any advanced nation be it Japan,HK,thailand, USA.Work consumes 9 hrs plus and in Indian scenario more than 10-12 at times the rest of his time he gathers some sleep maybe 6-7 hrs and that leaves him with just under an hour for himself and his family.Age on his side he pushes his weekends if he is fortunate to have a five day week,If not then its even worse.Picture your self in this madhouse.Running after jobs, money and more money.Wife too needs to work so she is busy earning money as well and managing the house and the in laws in some cases.Then the kids and the money for the groceries and the school admissions and the health and wealth balancing act move on day to day.The maids and their tantrums,what a life.I heard some one say its better to retire at 30 and step away from all this madness.Such is the frustration creeping in youngsters.What quality of life does one expect ?Picnis, parties, night outs and hangout night over etc is good for bachelors and spinsters but once engaged life is a different ball game.Trying to match leaves from offices, priorities change and the struggle within starts.Stress builds up and it reflects on the daily routine.Booze, smoke, and other elements are they enjoyment?Imagine if we have rebirths is this what we are ready for once again?If we have a worse case scenario where the next life is worse than this, what would happen?Just sit back and think.Therefore what ever it is you are going through today is because you have chosen it.So live life large and inspite of all these roller coaster rides enjoy every moment because this could be the last best opportunity given to you.How many of us who have yet to see the post 50 years life and its woes would like to be given another chance?Are we willing to go through the grind?

Came across a mail being circulated stating "Tour of the Norsk prison".For a while after going through it made me feel like I am taking a virtual tour of a 3 star hotel and a tour "conducted at that "being organized by a tour operator.The prisons in Norway are mind blowing( without being destructive).Do these countries really know the real world?I AGREE INMATES HAVE TO BE TREATED LIKE HUMANS BUT......the way a bomber will be held in this prison having all the luxuries is comparing the stay of an executive working in an MNC .
What are we proving?Go out kill , murder, create terror and be lodged in this kind of an environment?See the link at the bottom of this post and you would realize why?If humans across the world are same then why discriminate like this when it comes to criminals across the world?Guantanamo,Alcatraz,Andaman islands detention cells are they similar??They too must have had similar convicts.The Anda cell for Kasab the terrorist in the Mumbai horror reportedly costs us a crore per year ?Does it come anywhere near this?Does the Indian govt even know this?Or is there another scam here too?Even the Purulia arms drop case convict is ready for a trial in that part of the world but not India.We now know why!!!!!!
