Its been a while that I have been out of touch .I realised how much I really missed being on the blog circuit.It refreshes you so much and gives you an opportunity to be vocal , impromptu and let your feelings be expressed , so that the well wishers can voice some of their own opinions as well.
Getting caught up in the daily grind , I decided to step back into my blogger days and catch up with some new thoughts , in my journey called life.
Nowadays,I see we are caught up with work and the daily chores which also happen to be what's app, face book and twitter , which tends to occupy a large quantum of your quality time in life.This is becoming alarming and I realise , barring those momentary exchanges that take place , we get spondylosis looking down at the phone ,and or thumb and arm pain along with dry eyes and insomnia , which has been scientifically proven.So, for a few moments of pleasure , we are willing to stake our health.That is what life is becoming and we are missing out on the real simple pleasures.
I decided to break free and catch up with my college pals spread across the globe and meet them and their families in person along with my loved ones.These are eternal moments I guess, meeting some of them after 30 years .Taking me down memory lane and feeling nostalgic.I am eagerly waiting to hop on to the aircraft and wine and dine with these people from our good old days.Meeting some of my ex colleagues settled in San Jose, my college sweetheart , my closest friends whose children are now grown up and taking up the challenges in life, I am also looking forward to meeting up with my cousins who in turn have settled in the USA and now having a family of their own.Just remember them when they were kids and now , personally getting a chance to be with them after a long time.Its just that excitement of engaging with people you like and would like to be associated with you in your lifetime.Travelling across the globe sightseeing was a goal in the last decade.This time around it is more people centric.Want to spend , quality , family time at your own pace.I wonder what's in store?A few college friends who I haven't met since graduation, I would be seeing them albeit Gray hair or receding foreheads and their children et al.
Looking forward to experiencing street food of all kinds Cuban, Spanish, Norwegians, Caribbean and the Vietnamese kind.Just want to let go and live life at my own terms , be with the people recalling the good old days and coming up with surprises as we go down memory lane.
While we are fast expanding our global digital footprint, these moments come once a while and one must not , never , ever miss them, in my opinion.
